Blog v Wiki

There are some differences between blogs and wikis. We can start off with the difference that a blog usually has one creator while a wiki can be accessed and changed by more than one person. Wikis are usually edited by by a group or team, contains links to other wiki pages, and are continuously changing and rapidly growing. Blogs have a more traditional use of authors creating while authors comment, opinion sharing, and contains one to many contents. These are both very important in the internet world. Blogs can be used for collaboration by collaborating authors to maximize the knowledge that they are looking to accomplish. A new use that can be used with wikipedia would be the ability to have everything verified by experts in the fields in which are being written about, this would revolutionize wiki as we know it.

  1. I agree with what you had to say about both the blogs and wikis. I also thinks the new use for wikis you thought of is actually a really good one since Wikipedia is used so much and the information isn't always correct. I think its a great way to improve wikis.
